What is Trauma?

It’s more than just emotional pain.

Many people experience emotional or physical pain without realizing that it might be linked to past experiences, often referred to as 'trauma.' Trauma isn’t just caused by major events like accidents or violence; it can also stem from unresolved experiences that weren’t fully processed at the time. These lingering experiences can affect both your mind and body in ways you may not fully recognize, showing up as:

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to keep carrying this pain. Healing is possible, and it begins with understanding the impact trauma has on both your mind and body.

A Holistic Approach

How We Can Help You Heal

Our services offer personalized care tailored to your unique needs, ensuring that you receive the right approach for your healing journey. Since each individual’s path is different, we work with you to choose the therapies and support that will best address your specific challenges and goals.

01

One-on-One Therapy

In our one-on-one therapy sessions, you'll have a safe, supportive space to explore your life experiences and process emotions at your own pace. Guided by a compassionate therapist, you'll work through past events, gain clarity on how they affect your present, and heal emotional wounds. This process helps you discover new strengths, build resilience, and move toward a more peaceful, confident, and fulfilling life.

02

Group Therapy

We offer therapy groups tailored to a variety of personal needs, providing focused support for your unique situation. Led by experienced professionals, these safe, confidential spaces foster trust, allowing you to share, learn, and grow with others. You'll gain insights, build connections, and develop skills to move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

03

Trauma Informed Yoga

Somatic Yoga focuses on the mind-body connection, helping to release emotional tension stored in the body through muscle tension, posture, and movement. Using slow, mindful movements, breathwork, and body awareness, it allows you to identify and release physical stress and emotional blockages, promoting healing and emotional balance. Over time, this practice can reduce tension, increase flexibility, and foster a deeper sense of ease, clarity, and well-being.

04

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven therapy that helps process and heal distressing memories by reworking how they’re stored in the brain. Intense or traumatic events can cause memories to become "stuck," leading to emotional distress, flashbacks, and intrusive thoughts. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess these memories, reducing their emotional charge and allowing for greater emotional stability, less anxiety, and a sense of release from past experiences.

05

Art Therapy

Art therapy offers a creative way to connect with your emotions and promote healing, especially when words feel limiting. It allows you to express difficult feelings through drawing, painting, or sculpting, tapping into unconscious emotions and helping you process them more directly. Focused on the process rather than perfection, art therapy fosters emotional release, self-reflection, and personal growth, providing a safe, non-judgmental space for healing.
